How to access Online Therapy
Bringing one-to-one therapy to you!
Online CBT:
CBT delivered using a video-link includes non-verbal communication essentially enabling you to access face-to-face therapy from wherever you are. The content of online CBT and clinic-based therapy are the same. All you need is a broadband connection, a device with a webcam (a phone, a tablet, a laptop, or a computer), and a quiet space to talk.
Telephone CBT:
This flexible approach enables you to access high-quality therapy without the need to access a Wi-Fi connection. It is an effective way to deliver CBT treatment.
Evidence-based:
British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) suggests that CBT can be delivered via various methods: online, telephone, or face-to-face.
Research indicates that online therapy can be as effective as traditional face-to-face therapy and it is especially helpful for those with anxiety and depression. In addition to online therapy being as effective as clinic-based therapy, clients have also reported similar levels of satisfaction.

Therapist’s view:
Some studies have concluded that for a therapist to be psychologically present, he or she needs to feel comfortable with the chosen CBT method. I very much enjoy working in this creative way, which is reflected by high client satisfaction based on client feedback.
I’d been struggling to find a CBT professional who could help with anxieties based around my chronic illness, but Mannu’s experience of working with people with illnesses means that she’s been able to create CBT sessions that are both compassionate and engaging for those with specific problems.
Mannu’s measured, knowledgeable CBT approach has made me work even harder on improving my anxiety disorder, and quickly made a positive impact on my life. – RS
